Stakeholders’ Imbizo

The Gcingca Royal Family House convened a four-day Stakeholders’ Imbizo from 6th to the 9th of August 2026 at Gcingca Halt Effort within the Mkwinti Area Administration, Tsomo Location.

The Imbizo brought together representatives and stakeholders from traditional leadership, government departments: Education, Agriculture, Surveyor General, local churches, and local Businesses, Community Structures and Civil society.

Gcingca Royal Family Monument Unveiling

On Sunday, 29 March 2026, the Gcingca Royal Family House gathered for a historic milestone—the official unveiling of the Gcingca family monument. Held at Gcingca Halt in Mkwinti Location, Tsomo, this deeply significant occasion served to honor and remember our loved ones while firmly anchoring our shared heritage for future generations.

The day brought together family members, elders, and community representatives from across the region to pay tribute to our proud lineage and celebrate the enduring legacy of the Gcingca Royal House.

Jongimishini Primary School Opening

The Gcingca Royal House, together with the local community, celebrated the official opening of Jongimishini Primary School in Forty Village, Tsomo, Eastern Cape. This milestone event marked a significant step forward in our shared commitment to rural development and youth education within the region. Traditional leaders, educators, and families gathered to witness the unveiling of the new facilities, which were purposefully built to empower and inspire the next generation of leaders. It was a proud occasion that honored a bright, promising new chapter for our youth.
